Sales Development Manager

About the role

As the Sales Development Manager you will build and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives, driving the generation of new business opportunities and qualifying leads for the Risk Sales pipeline. Reporting to the Executive Director, Sales, you will act as a ‘player‑coach’, modelling best‑in‑class prospecting techniques while steering strategic sales initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high‑performing sales development team, aligning performance with regional sales targets.
• Identify and qualify new leads personally to meet and exceed individual and team revenue goals.
• Analyse outreach data to optimise success rates and guide the team toward more effective prospecting.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to design and execute strategic growth plans.
• Partner with the Head of Sales to share insights and influence key strategic decisions.
• Create, implement, and maintain standard sales methodologies and scalable processes that drive predictive revenue growth.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of experience in sales, business development or a related field, including direct management of a sales team.
• Proven leadership ability to manage performance, mentor colleagues and drive results across defined workstreams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Salesforce.
• Experience with sales enablement tools.
