Sales Development Representative

About the role

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for demonstrating the value and benefits of our client’s products or services through customer engagement, lead qualification, and lead conversion. The role also supports sales and renewal activities, requiring strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to match customer needs with relevant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts.
• Develop deep product knowledge and technical understanding of AI‑enabled services to assess client requirements.
• Identify and resolve customer concerns or roadblocks affecting satisfaction or product usage.
• Manage a high volume of daily outbound contacts via phone and email, focusing on Japanese‑speaking customers.
• Use AI‑enabled sales and productivity tools for prospect research, personalized outreach, and administrative follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM and support lead qualification, conversion, health checks, feedback gathering, and contract renewals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in a sales role with proven quota achievement.
• Experience in high‑volume calling and ability to learn new technologies.
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, AI‑enabled sales and productivity tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
• Willingness to work from home.
• Fluent in English and Japanese for managing Japanese‑speaking customers across APAC.
