Sales Development Representative

About the role

The Sales Development Representative will showcase the value of AI‑enabled products to Japanese‑speaking customers across APAC, supporting lead qualification, conversion and renewal activities. The role combines high‑volume outbound outreach with deep product knowledge to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
• Develop strong product and technical knowledge of AI‑enabled services to assess client requirements.
• Identify and resolve customer concerns or roadblocks affecting satisfaction or product usage.
• Handle competitive pressures and objections to retain existing customers and win new ones.
• Manage a high volume of daily outbound phone and email contacts, focusing on Japanese‑speaking prospects.
• Use AI‑enabled sales and productivity tools to research prospects, personalize outreach and prepare for conversations.
• Maintain accurate and complete customer information in the CRM.
• Undertake lead qualification, conversion, health checks, feedback gathering and contract renewals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in a sales role with a proven record of meeting quotas.
• High‑volume calling experience and ability to learn new technologies.
• Fluency in English and Japanese for sales discussions and negotiations.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Singapore.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and familiarity with AI‑enabled sales tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM platform.
