Sales Executive (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive new business for plant equipment in the semiconductor sector, maintain existing client relationships and act as the liaison between local teams and the Japan headquarters. The role involves targeting companies across Southeast Asia, ensuring timely delivery, managing inventory and preparing quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish new accounts for plant equipment (approximately 30% of activity).
• Maintain and grow relationships with current clients (approximately 70%).
• Target local and foreign companies and factories in Southeast Asia.
• Exchange and translate information with Japan HQ and local service teams.
• Maintain inventory records using the Autocount software and prepare sales quotations.

Required profile

• At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing/semiconductor or a minimum of 1 year in sales.
• Business‑level proficiency in Japanese and Chinese for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
• Willingness to travel as required and strong customer‑service and negotiation skills.
