Sales Intern (Lending)

About the role

Funding Societies | Modalku, the largest SME digital finance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a motivated Sales Intern to join its Sales team. The internship gives hands-on experience in customer acquisition through pre-sales activities, with training in products and sales processes alongside Relationship Managers and Business Acquisition Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to identify and qualify potential customers.
• Support customer acquisition by engaging prospective clients and understanding their financing needs.
• Work with Relationship Managers and Business Acquisition Managers on pre-sales activities and pipeline management.
• Collect digital documents and follow up with qualified prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet business targets and deliver a good customer experience.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate from any discipline.
• Strong interest in sales, business development or the FinTech industry.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable making outbound calls.
• Self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of at least 3 months.
