Sales Manager – Explosion Solutions (Safety Equipment)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established multinational specializing in industrial safety and engineered solutions for hazardous environments, is expanding its commercial team in Singapore. The Sales Manager (Explosion Solutions) will lead the sales of safety equipment across Singapore and Southeast Asia, targeting key industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day sales activities to ensure smooth project execution, timely deliveries, and compliance with customer specifications.
• Review RFQs, tenders and project requirements, preparing commercial and technical proposals.
• Conduct technical discussions and clarification meetings with customers regarding project scope and solution requirements.
• Coordinate with regional sales teams, factories and customers to support project execution and delivery timelines.
• Handle quotation preparation, pricing strategy, order management and contract follow‑up.
• Develop and expand business opportunities within oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, marine and power industries.
• Maintain and grow relationships with EPC contractors, system integrators and end users across the region.
• Monitor project progress, sales pipeline and account receivables to achieve revenue and gross‑margin targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates and periodic business reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience.
• Experience in Electrical Heat Tracing, hazardous‑area products, process industries, EPC projects or Southeast Asian industrial markets is advantageous.
• Familiarity with RFQs, tender submissions, proposal preparation and technical drawing/specification review.
• Knowledge of IECEx / ATEX standards, Microsoft Office, CRM systems and willingness to travel regionally.
