Sales Manager (Explosion Solutions) – Safety Equipment

About the role

The client, a well‑established multinational in industrial safety, is expanding its commercial team in Singapore. They are seeking a Sales Manager for Explosion Solutions to drive sales of safety equipment across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day sales activities, ensuring smooth project execution, timely deliveries, and compliance with customer specifications.
• Review RFQs, tenders and project requirements to prepare commercial and technical proposals.
• Conduct technical discussions and clarification meetings with customers regarding scope and solution requirements.
• Coordinate with regional sales teams, factories and customers to support project execution and delivery timelines.
• Handle quotation preparation, pricing strategy, order management and contract follow‑up.
• Develop and expand business opportunities in oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, marine and power sectors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with EPC contractors, system integrators and end‑users across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Monitor project progress, sales pipeline and account receivables to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates and periodic business reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience.
• Experience in Electrical Heat Tracing (EHT), hazardous‑area products, process industries, EPC projects or Southeast Asian industrial markets is advantageous.
• Familiarity with RFQs, tender submissions, proposal preparation and technical drawing/specification review.
• Knowledge of IECEx / ATEX standards and readiness for regional travel.
