Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will drive business growth for Constellar Venues by identifying new sales opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored venue solutions that meet client needs and create exceptional event experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand existing client accounts, building long‑term relationships and understanding event requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales and event lifecycle, from enquiry to post‑event follow‑up.
• Prospect, develop and convert new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, market intelligence and targeted campaigns.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure seamless hand‑over to internal teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to inform sales strategy.
• Maintain accurate records, forecasts and activity reports in the CRM system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and sales governance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Events Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management or venue/events sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience in the MICE, hospitality or events sector is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, presentation and consultative selling abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations and Event Management teams.
