Sales Specialist – Freight Services

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Singapore focuses on driving new business and managing existing accounts for Penanshin’s air, sea and multimodal freight solutions. The Sales Specialist will act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring they receive accurate shipment options, pricing and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage existing accounts.
• Promote Penanshin’s air, sea and multimodal freight services to prospective and current customers.
• Conduct sales meetings and calls, prepare quotations and follow up on leads.
• Provide timely updates on shipment options, pricing and coordinate with operations and customer service teams.
• Contribute to sales reporting, participate in sales reviews and support marketing or training initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills to build long‑term client relationships.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting targets and managing pipelines.
• Sales management and training capabilities to share best practices.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics or supply‑chain operations, especially air, sea and multimodal transport.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, with strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply‑Chain Management or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
