Sales Support Manager

About the role

The Sales Support Manager supervises and oversees a team of sales support staff based in Singapore, ensuring exceptional service delivery, effective parts fulfilment and optimal handling of sales orders. The role suits someone with a history of improving customer service operations in a regional setting, with export expertise and SAP Sales Order module knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise the regional Sales Support team, set performance expectations, give regular feedback and support development and succession planning.
• Oversee end-to-end parts fulfilment and sales orders, resolve part shortages and delivery discrepancies, and work with Planners on inventory forecasting and blanket orders.
• Hold monthly operations meetings with parts and equipment sales teams, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Technical and Finance teams.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners, and partner with Finance on credit control and collections.
• Provide hands-on support: process purchase orders into sales orders in SAP, manage open orders, handle customer enquiries and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Produce sales and operational reports, support NPS initiatives, drive SAP process improvements, and build Power BI dashboards for KPIs such as order backlog and fulfilment performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales support, order management or customer service roles.
• Prior experience managing or supervising teams in a regional or cross-country setup is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures and trade documentation in Singapore and/or Malaysia.
• Experience with inbound shipments and freight forwarders; outbound shipment exposure is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of the SAP Sales Order module.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or similar tools.
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
