Sales Support Officer

About the role

The Sales Support Officer will act as the primary liaison between customers and service providers on site, ensuring smooth export and import operations. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in freight forwarding and logistics coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate export pickup bookings with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and verify export documentation, issue pre‑alerts, and ensure correct goods release to transporters.
• Monitor import shipments, track arrivals, and resolve any package discrepancies or damages.
• Maintain accurate shipping records, print and file documents in line with customer compliance.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly data entry and reporting.
• Provide effective communication between customers, receiving teams, and transport partners.

Required profile

• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Organised, meticulous, with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently and handle weekend duties when required.
• Experience in the freight forwarding industry is a plus.
