Sales Support Specialist (Analyst / Assistant Vice President)

About the role

Citi is hiring a Sales Support Specialist (Analyst / Assistant Vice President) in Singapore to support Commodities Sales across Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney. The role is MAS regulated and focuses on day-to-day support for Sales, including trade bookings, technology feeds, middle office and operations queries, daily indicative pricing, and KYC and onboarding. It also covers ad-hoc tasks so Sales can focus on clients and trade execution.

Key responsibilities

• Work with salespeople, client executives and clients to support the client and sales lifecycle.
• Coordinate internally and help prepare materials for client meetings, including client presentations and marketing materials.
• Document call reports and track follow-up items from meetings.
• Help develop and execute client strategy and sales initiatives, maintaining associated reports.
• Keep CRM and other internal systems active and accurate.
• Lead governance and controls, working with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit and Finance, and build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and ethics.
• Assess risk/reward of transactions and comply with Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Markets and Services.
• Support onboarding through cross-functional coordination and pre-trade support (KYC, legal, regulatory, tax, credit capacity, facility setup).
• Handle RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, and act as escalation point for margin disputes, data discrepancies and settlements.
• Improve processes through root cause analysis and re-engineer or automate high-impact processes.

Required profile

• 2-8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's or university degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of client onboarding procedures (KYC requirements, OFAC, etc.).
• Experience in a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client and internal team interaction.

• Data analysis tools and analytical thinking.
