About the role
Capgemini is seeking a Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end solutions built on the Salesforce platform. The role acts as the technical design authority, shaping architecture, establishing standards, and guiding cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end solution architecture across Salesforce clouds and adjacent systems, ensuring scalability, performance and security.
- Define and enforce technical governance, coding standards, design patterns and review gates as the design authority.
- Lead technical workshops, translate requirements into architectural designs, and guide implementation teams through build, testing, deployment and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Review integration patterns and data architecture, oversee migration strategy and data quality controls.
- Advise business and technology stakeholders on platform roadmap, communicate constraints and co‑create value‑driven alternatives.
- Coach team leads and senior developers, contribute to playbooks, accelerators and knowledge‑sharing forums.
- Shape solution approaches for pre‑sales proposals, evaluate AppExchange solutions and support account growth.
Required profile
- 10+ years of enterprise software delivery experience with at least 8 years on Salesforce projects, including presales and large‑scale implementations.
- Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., System Architect, Application Architect) and deep knowledge of multi‑cloud solutioning, security, data modelling and Apex/LWC patterns.
- Strong understanding of DevOps (SFDX, CI/CD pipelines) and integration architecture (MuleSoft, API‑led, event‑driven).
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills, with proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

- Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)
- Apex, Lightning Web Components, LWC, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- SFDX, source‑driven development, CI/CD pipelines
- Integration technologies: MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, batch, event‑driven
- Data modelling, security & sharing, performance optimisation
