SAP Engineering Project Manager – Sales & Distribution

About the role

Apple’s Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead SAP‑based e‑Commerce and Order‑to‑Cash initiatives. You will work across multiple regions and time zones, delivering complex, highly customised solutions that support Apple’s global supply chain and financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define system architecture and collaborate with business domains on integration testing across internal and external systems worldwide.
• Manage project cut‑over, go‑live support, and hand‑over to the SAP production team for SAP Commerce and SAP S/4HANA.
• Review business requirements, perform functional gap analysis, and create detailed project scopes, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
• Implement, deploy, and manage SAP BTP applications and integrations with external partners using EDI, XML, API, portals, and WebMethods.
• Present solution designs for reviews and business play‑backs, write technical specifications, and coordinate functional acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance with global security, encryption, and documentation standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale SAP projects in a global, multi‑vendor environment.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, define workable models, and enforce design and security principles.
• Excellent collaboration skills with business and technical teams across different regions.
