About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a Payment Partnerships Specialist to support rapid growth and expansion in the Americas. The role focuses on managing key aspects of partnerships with card networks and payment providers to deliver payment solutions for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with card networks and payment providers to develop and deliver payment solutions for merchants.
• Serve as the single point of contact for day‑to‑day operations internally and externally for assigned partnerships.
• Ensure processes are followed and deliverables are met by both sides, tracking performance metrics.
• Design and develop new processes to scale partnerships for growth, operational efficiency, and performance improvement.
• Leverage data analysis tools to monitor partnership performance, identify trends, and support data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Sales.
• Resolve complex issues, simplify ambiguous situations, and drive clear outcomes.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on partner products and operations for internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in payment products, operations or managing payment partnerships.
• Experience working with card networks and strong understanding of payment systems and flows.
• Organised, proactive, data‑driven and analytical with a strategic problem‑solving approach.
• Strong collaborator and communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures in a globally distributed team.
