SDN Presales Architect - Cloud Operations Suite (CSP/MSP)

About the role

HPE is looking for an SDN Presales Architect for its Cloud Operations Suite CSP/MSP team in Singapore. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. You will work with the local sales and pre-sales teams to deliver technical presentations, run proofs of concept and kick off software implementations, acting as the technical bridge between HPE, partners and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with local sales and pre-sales teams to deliver technical presentations, run complex proofs of concept and start initial software implementations.
• Act as the link between the field and development, feeding customer and prospect feedback back to Product and Development teams.
• Drive the technical sales process and act as a trusted advisor for customers in large, complex environments.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations, and lead technical POCs.
• Provide technical and business value to CSP/MSP partners and their customers through enablement, whiteboard discussions, demos and proof of value, plus post-sales support when needed.

Required profile

• 10+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Ability to design implementation architectures and understand the IT operations and cloud-native markets.
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation and persuasive skills, and ability to handle objections.
• Ability to communicate in English and the applicable local languages, in person and virtually.
• Preferred: enterprise pre-sales, sales engineering or solutions architecture experience, ITOM experience, and relevant networking or cloud certifications.

Required skills

• Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Mesos.
• Enterprise networking: routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, network security.
• SDN, network virtualization, overlays/underlays, VXLAN/EVPN and network automation.
• Some programming skills (Java, Python, PHP, JSON, Node.js, JavaScript).
• Preferred: Kubernetes/container networking, AIOps, Zero Trust, observability, and familiarity with MCP and AI/LLM-based infrastructure management.
