Secondary Educational Assistant

About the role

The Secondary Educational Assistant works under the direction of the head of school and the CPE to support student supervision and educational follow‑up throughout the school day and during extracurricular activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise students from arrival to departure, including recess, lunch, outings, and ensure their safety.
• Record and analyse student absences and late arrivals.
• Enforce school rules and safety regulations.
• Supervise student detentions on Saturday mornings.
• Oversee and animate activities in the college students' home and high‑school students' house.
• Assist teachers in preparing and implementing educational activities, including study and homework support.
• Promote a positive learning environment, respect, tolerance, and student well‑being.
• Participate in organizing examinations, competitions, and various cultural, sports, or artistic events.

Required profile

• High school diploma (Baccalauréat) required.
• Experience in animation or working with teenagers is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of adolescence, educational relationships, and school authority.
• Ability to create a climate of trust and manage student discipline appropriately.
