Sector Coverage Analyst – Corporate & Investment Banking

About the role

The Analyst, Sector Coverage will support MUFG Bank’s ambition to be a leading bank in providing sector‑focused insights and financing solutions. You will work across Mobility, Consumer, Healthcare and Industrials verticals, assisting in deal origination, execution and client engagement throughout APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Support deal origination and execution, focusing on debt financing and capital structuring.
• Conduct credit analysis, financial modelling, valuation and due‑diligence for corporate M&A and leverage finance transactions.
• Prepare marketing materials, transaction documentation and presentations for investors and management.
• Manage day‑to‑day project and transaction administration.
• Research sector trends, winners and losers, and identify potential deal opportunities.
• Collaborate with coverage bankers, Debt Capital Markets and product partners to drive origination to distribution.
• Contribute to MUFG’s brand and profile through conference participation and sector branding activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 1 year of corporate finance or leverage finance experience at a leading bank.
• Highly driven, proactive and able to manage conflicting priorities.
• Strong professionalism, ethical conduct and excellent communication skills.
