Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1

About the role

Citi is hiring an Officer, Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 (hybrid) based in Changi Business Park, Singapore, within the Operations - Transaction Services team. This is an entry-level position responsible for processing orders and transactions coming from trading desks and branch offices, working with the Operations - Transaction Services team to support the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform trade verifications to ensure the accuracy of booking requests
• Generate and match trade confirmations using ISDA templates
• Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time
• Coordinate transaction processing issues with the right departments and collaborate on solutions
• Carry out regulatory controls, account reconciliations and record retention in line with policy
• Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports
• Take part in periodic General Ledger proofing exercises
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold compliance with laws and rules, and escalate and report control issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience preferred
• Proven ability to handle several concurrent activities in a high-risk environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of macros
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Knowledge of ISDA trade confirmations
