Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 (Hybrid)

About the role

Citi's Securities Services (SS) is hiring an Officer, Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 (internal title: Agency & Trust Operations Senior Analyst) for its Securities and Derivatives Processing team in Changi, Singapore. The position is hybrid and sits in the Operations - Transaction Services job family.

Key responsibilities

• Support the settlement of new debt securities issuances through Central Depository Pte Ltd (SGX)
• Capture transactions and trades completed
• Reconcile cash positions and identify operational risk
• Handle enquiries from internal and external clients
• Invoice clients for services provided

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in the banking industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and to handle several concurrent projects in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
• Good presentation skills and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders verbally and in writing

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Demonstrated knowledge of macroeconomics
• Advantageous: knowledge of issuer and corporate trust operations
• Understanding of basic operational risk and controls concepts, including reconciliation, local regulatory requirements, business continuity and record management
