Security Engineer

About the role

Kyndryl runs and reimagines the mission-critical technology systems that power leading businesses, and is looking for a Security Engineer in Singapore. Security engineers at Kyndryl lead mission-critical programs, build trust with customers and stakeholders and influence high-impact initiatives. The role offers opportunities to grow skills, gain certifications and develop leadership experience.

Key responsibilities

• Implement security monitoring and threat detection controls
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation
• Support incident response and investigations
• Manage security technologies including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS and firewalls
• Perform security hardening and compliance assessments
• Support security audits and accreditation activities
• Implement Zero Trust and security-by-design principles

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience
• Growth mindset, customer-focused and inclusive in working with others

Required skills

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk
• Preferred: proficiency with Palo Alto Networks technologies
• Preferred: experience with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC or equivalent
