Security Team Leader – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Security Team Leader supports the Security Executive in overseeing daily security operations at Hilton Singapore Orchard. In the Executive’s absence, the Team Leader ensures that all security procedures, inspections, and emergency protocols are executed to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise each security shift, maintaining adequate patrol patterns and frequencies.
• Inspect fire equipment, evacuation routes, and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
• Monitor and record issues reported by Security Officers during patrols.
• Conduct random bag inspections of staff entering and leaving the hotel.
• Enforce asset removal policies and arrange cash escort services when required.
• Maintain perimeter patrols to prevent loitering and ensure guest safety.
• Perform random hotel inspections to verify security practices, clear fire exits, and keep equipment unobstructed.
• Address guest complaints professionally and communicate effectively.
• Uphold Hilton’s appearance standards and promote a positive team environment.

Required profile

• High School or Secondary Vocational School graduate.
• Valid Security Officer License issued by the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD).
• First‑aid training; CERT (Company Emergency Response Team) certification preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
