Semicon Technician (12 hour shifts)

About the role

The Semicon Technician will build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies according to work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams. The role operates on a 12‑hour shift pattern, ensuring high‑quality output while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps for testing.
• Enter progress, expense and labor data into computer systems.
• Conduct computer programming, repairs or software installations as required.
• Inspect parts for defects, perform audits and ensure parts availability.
• Observe all safety standards and report hazards promptly.

Required profile

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience or internship/academic background in a related field is advantageous.

• Contract position with monthly salary SGD 2,600 – 3,600
• 12‑hour shift schedule (day or night) with shift allowances (day $20, night $45)
