Senior Accountant / Assistant Accounting Manager

About the role

This position is ideal for a finance professional seeking to deepen expertise in full‑cycle accounting within a fast‑growing renewable fuels company. You will support EcoCeres Singapore’s trading operations while gaining exposure to international standards and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close, preparing financial reports, account reconciliations, balance‑sheet schedules and supporting analyses.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), corporate policies and internal controls.
• Maintain the lease registry and coordinate year‑end audits, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Support corporate tax, GST filings and statutory reporting, preparing information for tax advisors and regulators.
• Assist with import and export LC/SBLC submissions and provide payment support to the global team as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of finance/accounting experience in trading, commodities, oil & gas or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SFRS, Singapore tax regulations and internal control frameworks.
• Experience handling LC/SBLC processes.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative and able to follow through on complex tasks.
• Proficiency in English; fair Chinese language skills.
