Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a multinational technology and manufacturing organization in Singapore. The role involves managing day‑to‑day finance operations for both local and overseas subsidiaries and supporting the company’s growth through accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense approvals for Singapore and overseas entities.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain precise financial records.
• Execute full‑set month‑end closing independently and produce management reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors for local and group audits, prepare audit schedules, and address audit queries.
• Implement and monitor internal controls over purchasing, sales, expenses, and inventory movements.
• Assist in corporate income tax computation and liaise with tax agents for filing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate secretarial regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
