Senior Accounts Officer (10‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Senior Accounts Officer to join our finance team on a 10‑month contract. You will support the full accounting cycle, ensure accurate financial reporting and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process employee claims through Concur and arrange payments for third‑party hotel operators.
• Handle partial AR billings such as IT services and expense reimbursements.
• Execute month‑end closing activities, including accruals, balance‑sheet schedules, revenue and expense analysis.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and conduct half‑yearly inventory counts.
• Perform annual fixed‑asset counts and prepare GST filings.
• Address tax and audit queries and assist in the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Support corporate secretarial tasks, including updating bank signatories.
• Participate in system migration projects, data cleansing and other ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in full set of accounts, including general ledger handling.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Concur expense management software.
