Senior Accounts Officer

About the role

Vishay Intertechnology Asia is looking for a Senior Accounts Officer to join its Finance team in the East Region of Singapore. The role involves managing account opening, payment processing, and acting as the primary liaison between the buying organization, vendors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Open new accounts and follow up on clearance of liabilities.
• Order or release payments as directed by accountable management.
• Clarify account discrepancies internally and with expediters, vendors, and suppliers.
• Produce statements of accounts and cooperate with the purchase organization to resolve issues.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the buying organization and vendors.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with Tungsten (Kofax) AP.
• Experience using Concur.
