Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job description
About the role
360F, a B2B fintech company focused on financial advisory, is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join its growing actuarial function in Singapore. The role sits at the intersection of actuarial science and business analysis, combining quantitative rigor with stakeholder communication, requirements gathering and process improvement. It works directly under the Head of Actuarial across product pricing, actuarial modelling, financial analysis and client-facing analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse, develop and maintain actuarial models for life, health and investment-linked insurance products across APAC markets, and conduct experience studies and assumption reviews.
- Assist in product pricing, including rate tables, benefit illustrations and premium calculations, and prepare and review IFRS 17 and RBC reserve and liability calculations.
- Build, test and document actuarial models in Python or R, moving away from spreadsheet-heavy approaches.
- Gather and document actuarial requirements, write functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria, and support sprint planning and backlog grooming in JIRA.
- Build data models and dashboards in Python, R and Excel, validate API outputs with Postman, and prepare actuarial reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Support client-facing workshops and product reviews, and help clients understand actuarial outputs and pricing rationale.
- Identify workflow improvements, explore AI and machine learning tools, and contribute to the internal actuarial knowledge base.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in actuarial, actuarial consulting or a closely related analytical role, with exposure to life, health or investment-linked products.
- Pursuing or holding an actuarial designation (ASA, FSA, AIA, FIA or equivalent); candidates actively progressing through exams are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance or a related field.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams and work in a multicultural, cross-functional team.
Required skills
- Strong Python or R, with willingness to code models rather than rely on spreadsheets.
- Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, scenario analysis and dashboards.
- API testing with Postman.
- Requirements gathering, gap analysis and agile support in JIRA or similar tools.
- Familiarity with IFRS 17 concepts.
