Senior Analyst, Global Logistics & Trade Operations (SIG)

About the role

Micron is looking for a Senior Analyst/Analyst for its SIG (Site Integration Group) team, responsible for global logistics and trade orchestration. The role acts as the single global point of coordination for SIG logistics and trade across regions, aligning execution with enterprise-level trade strategy, risk posture and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single global coordinator for SIG logistics and trade, communicating with Micron Global Trade, Global Logistics, customs brokers and 3PL partners.
• Own end-to-end process frameworks for imports, exports, inter-site transfers, repairs/RMA, returns and exceptions, and turn global policies into auditable SOPs and playbooks.
• Establish process controls, blocking issue paths and hand-offs without duplicating regulatory ownership.
• Drive adoption of digital tools, analytics and AI-enabled capabilities to improve shipment visibility, risk detection and cycle-time predictability, and reduce manual touchpoints through workflow automation.
• Partner with IT, data and automation teams to embed AI-assisted insights such as predictive delays and anomaly detection.
• Enable consistent SIG execution across Malaysia, Singapore, India, China, Mexico and the United States, leading rollouts of new logistics models and trade flows with structured change management.
• Coordinate resolution of shipment holds, customs issues and documentation discrepancies, drive root cause analysis and bring regulatory decisions to Global Trade owners.

Required profile

• MBA, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or Global Business.
• 12 years of proven experience in global logistics, international trade operations or supply chain execution in a multi-country environment.
• Proven track record managing cross-border import/export across multiple regulatory regimes (Asia and the Americas preferred).
• Experience with digital tools, data analytics, automation or AI-enabled solutions to improve logistics or trade execution.
• Background in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing or capital equipment supply chains strongly preferred.
• CSCP, CLTD (APICS) or trade compliance certificate (IOE&IT / CTLE) preferred.
