Senior Application Engineer

About the role

InsiderSecurity is looking for a Senior Application Engineer in Singapore to act as the technical expert for its solutions. The role supports users in achieving strong cybersecurity, advises customers on deployment architecture and best practices, and serves as the link between users and the product engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Understand user requirements and support users in securing their organizations with the company's solutions
• Advise customers on deployment architecture and best practices for the products
• Deploy and configure solutions in customer data centers or cloud environments
• Develop and configure use cases to meet user needs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Support the sales team with technical demos and answers to technical questions
• Guide junior application engineers on technical matters

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in system administration, cloud administration or IT networking
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Prior experience as an application field engineer or customer success engineer is an advantage
• Must be a Singapore resident

Required skills

• System and cloud administration (Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes)
• Networking
• Python or other high-level programming languages
• Bash scripting
• Familiarity with database administration and SQL is a plus
