Senior Assistant Director / Assistant Director, Data Analytics

About the role

The Senior Assistant Director, Data Analytics will lead advanced quantitative analytics, modelling and programme evaluation initiatives to inform policy and operational planning at AIC. The role ensures that insights are derived from rigorous, defensible methods and that high‑quality analytics solutions are delivered to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and supervise end‑to‑end analytics projects, including deep‑dive data analysis, dashboard creation, and geospatial mapping.
• Partner with internal divisions and external organisations (academic partners, MOH, NCSS, community care groups) to align analytics with strategic directions.
• Guide programme managers in developing theories of change, logic models, outcome indicators, study designs, sample size calculations and analytic plans.
• Oversee statistical analyses for major programme evaluations and primary research projects.
• Produce or supervise write‑ups summarising methodology, findings and conclusions for interim and final reports.
• Develop regular and ad‑hoc data products such as infographics, interactive maps and machine‑learning‑based analyses.
• Manage team workload, ensure fair turnaround times and build analytic capability through workshops and communities of practice.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in quantitative analytics, business intelligence and programme evaluation.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders across public‑sector and community organisations.
• Strong project‑management skills with a track record of delivering high‑quality analytical outputs.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations.
