Senior Assistant Director, Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme

About the role

The Senior Assistant Director, Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme will lead the expansion and delivery of NTUpreneur’s global internship initiative. Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will shape strategies that connect NTU students with startups and innovation hubs across Asia, Europe, the United States and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute growth strategies for the flagship global internship programme.
• Identify emerging markets and establish new internship placements in strategic locations.
• Build and nurture partnerships with startups, ecosystem stakeholders and overseas placement consultants.
• Oversee the performance of placement consultants and ensure high‑quality experiential learning for students.
• Manage the Ministry of Education Global Innovation Alliance grant and Enterprise Singapore Global Ready Talent grant, ensuring compliance, reporting and prudent fund utilisation.
• Align programme outcomes with NTU’s internationalisation and entrepreneurship objectives and the NTU 2030 Strategic Plan.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in higher‑education or entrepreneurship ecosystems.
• Strong track record of developing international partnerships and managing large‑scale programmes.
• Experience handling government or corporate grants, including reporting and audit preparation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
