Senior Assistant Manager, Activate Global Fellows SG@NTU

About the role

NTUitive, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTU Innovation & Entrepreneurship, oversees the cultivation of startups and spin-offs and their related investments. It is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to support the execution and operational management of a high-profile deep tech commercialisation programme. The role focuses on programme delivery, stakeholder coordination and founder experience management, working closely with senior leadership on ecosystem strategy and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of operational plans and manage day-to-day programme operations, including scheduling learning modules, mentor sessions, industry visits and milestone reviews.
• Serve as the main point of contact for fellows, instructors and partners, and ensure onboarding and administrative processing.
• Carry out outreach such as roadshows, webinars and ecosystem events, liaise with universities and research institutes to recruit founders and research teams, and organise networking events and mentor matching.
• Maintain records of mentors, advisors and instructors.
• Keep programme databases and dashboards up to date, prepare operational reports for management and funders, collect participant feedback and track post-programme outcomes such as pilots, partnerships and fundraising.
• Help draft programme updates and success stories, ensure grant reporting compliance and support cross-functional initiatives within NTU I&E.

Required profile

• Degree holder with relevant experience in program management, innovation ecosystems, R&D environments, entrepreneurship or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a track record of managing several workstreams in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with scientists, industry leaders and international partners.
• Comfortable with administrative processes, project tracking and structured reporting.
• Good-to-have: experience in deep tech, research commercialisation, venture building or startup acceleration; familiarity with the Singapore innovation ecosystem; experience managing educational or hybrid programmes; experience with global partners or international cohorts.
