Senior Assistant Manager, Allied Health Operations (EG)

About the role

Woodlands Hospital, a next-generation integrated acute and community hospital in Singapore, is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager for Allied Health Operations. The role supports Allied Health Departments in managing and continuously improving operational processes so that workflows run efficiently and patients receive high-quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Operations (40%): run, monitor and improve existing services; handle procurement, inventory, invoices and other admin; analyse and report on operational and financial indicators such as waiting and turnaround times; drive process improvements and quality service management, including complaints and feedback handling; support Heads of Department in supervising ancillary staff and in preparing annual workplans, manpower plans and budgets.
• Planning and development (40%): plan, design and develop new services and initiatives; review workflows and processes; set up new services including proposals, procurement, system integration and rollout; evaluate and implement new technologies; coordinate cross-departmental initiatives.
• General (20%): oversee daily operations, admin and procurement; coordinate meetings, prepare minutes and track follow-ups; guide and train junior staff; carry out other duties assigned by the reporting officer and support corporate activities.

Required profile

• University degree in science, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare or a related industry.
• Experience supporting operations and some experience in business process and data analysis.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel (intermediate/advanced) and Word.
• Data analysis, critical thinking and lean management.
• Communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
