Senior Assistant Manager – Content Creation

About the role

The College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Senior Assistant Manager (or Assistant Manager) to lead content creation and strategic communications. The role supports branding campaigns, digital storytelling, and stakeholder engagement across internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive an integrated communications strategy to strengthen brand positioning and reputation.
• Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and corporate partners to produce executive communications, speeches, media features, and strategic publications.
• Create and manage press releases, presentations, website content, and corporate collaterals.
• Oversee the College’s websites, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and a user‑friendly experience.
• Monitor social‑media performance, analyse metrics, and refine content and campaign strategies.
• Support publicity campaigns and ensure event materials align with branding guidelines.
• Plan and promote College events, ensuring successful delivery.
• Review, edit, and proofread all content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand style.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to evaluate communication effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communications, content creation, and branding within an academic or research environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with faculty, researchers, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage website content and optimise user experience.
• Data‑driven mindset for analysing social‑media performance and campaign impact.
• Excellent editorial standards with attention to grammar, tone, and brand consistency.
