Senior Assistant Manager, Faculty Affairs

About the role

NTU’s College of Engineering is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager to join the Faculty Affairs team. The role sits at the strategic heart of the college, supporting faculty recruitment, appointments, performance appraisal and development across all engineering schools.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate faculty recruitment activities, including global outreach events and campus visit programmes, and liaise with Faculty Administrators and HR Business Partners to manage timelines.
• Prepare faculty appointment dossiers, track recruitment metrics and produce reports for college leadership.
• Manage administrative processes for new faculty appointments, contract renewals and reappointments, ensuring compliance with university policies.
• Oversee the annual faculty performance appraisal exercise, compile submissions, and prepare outcome reports for senior management.
• Assist in organising faculty development programmes, workshops and onboarding activities, and communicate faculty‑related policies and resources.

Required profile

• Dynamic and detail‑oriented professional with strong organisational skills.
• Experience coordinating recruitment, appointments or performance processes in an academic or large‑scale organisational setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple schools, HR partners and senior leaders.
• Familiarity with university policies and faculty administration procedures.
