Senior Assistant Manager – Finance & Corporate Operations

About the role

co11ab, Singapore’s first biomedical incubator within Novena Health City, is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to lead its finance, corporate administration and governance functions. Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will provide the organisational backbone that enables the incubator’s programmes and ecosystem activities to run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting and variance analysis.
• Monitor revenue, expenditure, cash‑flow and budget utilisation, delivering insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee invoicing, accounts receivable, payments and coordinate year‑end financial activities and audits.
• Manage corporate administration, governance processes, contracts, approvals, records and internal controls.
• Administer grants and funded programmes, handling budgets, expenditure claims and documentation.
• Coordinate procurement administration and manage corporate service providers for cost‑effectiveness.
• Support the membership lifecycle, handling financial, contractual and administrative aspects in partnership with operations teams.
• Develop dashboards, SOPs and reporting systems; continuously improve workflows, controls and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in corporate services, finance operations or business administration.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and corporate administration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with ability to work across startups, research and public‑sector partners.
• Highly independent, resource‑ful and able to drive matters to completion with minimal supervision.
