Senior Assistant Manager, Finance (Receivables & Revenue)

About the role

NHG Diagnostics is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager, Finance to join its Finance team and report to the Head of Finance. The role covers the receivables and revenue functions, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and finance operations, with a 100% onsite arrangement in the Novena office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the account receivable function: prepare monthly tax invoices, post incoming receipts, reconcile sales, billings and settlements, and resolve discrepancies
• Handle general ledger activities for revenue, including journal entries, accruals and clearing accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing, monthly management reporting and customer-level financial analysis
• Prepare rolling P&L forecasts and support annual budgeting
• Assess contracts for FRS 116 lease capitalisation, assist in cost allocation and costing exercises, and help with internal and external audits
• Take part in ad-hoc projects and support systems implementation such as the National Billing System, and review SOPs and work instructions

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant experience as an accountant
• Experience in full sets of accounts
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, with strong responsibility, communication and prioritisation skills
• Willingness to work onsite in the Novena office and accept a 12-month renewable contract subject to performance and project needs

• SAP (FI-CO and/or HANA)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vLookup) and PowerPoint
• Experience with AI/RPA tools is an advantage
