Senior Assistant Manager – Marketing & Communications

About the role

The School of Social Sciences (SSS) at NTU is looking for a motivated Senior Assistant Manager/Assistant Manager to lead marketing and outreach for its graduate coursework, research programmes, undergraduate summer school and special programmes. This newly created two‑year fixed‑term role focuses on diversifying the geographic composition of student intake, targeting India, ASEAN, Singapore, China and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and manage graduate student ambassadors from key target markets, ensuring representation across programmes.
• Design and deliver orientation and training for ambassadors on content creation, brand guidelines and conduct.
• Oversee ambassadors’ social‑media activity, providing guidance and ensuring brand consistency.
• Create, schedule and publish content on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and a dedicated SSS YouTube channel.
• Maintain a content calendar, monitor analytics and refine strategies to improve reach and engagement.
• Conduct research on facilities, programmes, student life and career outcomes to produce accurate, compelling content.
• Collaborate with the School Lead to manage paid online advertising and track performance.
• Support web content management for postgraduate education pages.

Required profile

• Strong motivation and creativity with a focus on international student recruitment.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with faculty, administrative staff and student ambassadors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with social‑media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Content creation and video production oversight.
• Data‑driven approach using platform analytics to optimise content.
• Familiarity with digital advertising and web content management.
