Senior Assistant Manager – Support and Care

About the role

The University Wellbeing Office at NTU is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager to lead its Support and Care team. You will manage critical incidents, coordinate high‑risk case management, and strengthen the campus-wide wellbeing network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage critical incidents and high‑risk cases, ensuring timely emergency interventions and coordinated support for students and staff.
• Develop and implement case‑management and safety plans, and oversee follow‑up care with internal and external partners.
• Maintain accurate case data, produce analytical reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
• Build strong relationships with Student Care Managers, Residential Student Care Teams and other wellbeing stakeholders across NTU.
• Lead the administration and enhancement of the OneNTU Wellbeing Connect platform, working with users and technical teams.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, counselling, social work or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in care and support, wellbeing, case or crisis management, ideally within higher education or health‑related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, multi‑stakeholder incidents and to produce clear, data‑driven reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with digital case‑management platforms.
• Experience with data collection, management and analysis tools to generate actionable insights.
