Senior Associate – Finance Strategy & Operations Consulting

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Finance Strategy & Operations team within the Consulting practice. You will work on projects for financial‑services clients, helping them design and execute strategies that improve productivity, modernise operations and drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Structure complex problems and lead analysis that underpins client solutions.
• Translate analytical insights into practical, impact‑focused recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with strategic priorities.
• Support system‑enabled transformations, including ERP and digital finance tools.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a high‑performance team environment.
• Assist engagement leaders in managing project aspects and guiding junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
• 3‑5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, transformation, digitisation or operations, preferably within financial services.
• Strong ownership, accountability and ability to structure ambiguous problems using first‑principles thinking.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and qualitative problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in team settings and familiarity with structured problem‑solving approaches.
• Basic understanding of the financial‑services industry (banking, insurance, asset management, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
