Senior Blast Engineer – Civil & Structural

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and innovative Senior Engineer to join our team in designing and delivering protective security engineering solutions. Based at our SJ Campus on Jurong Island, you will work on exciting projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to create safe, efficient, and future‑ready environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and plan protective security engineering systems and solutions.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, clients and relevant authorities across all project phases.
• Deliver designs, drawings and reports on time and to high technical standards.
• Manage project progress to ensure objectives on time, cost and quality are met.
• Prepare tender documents and drawings, evaluate proposals, and provide recommendations to clients.
• Oversee and coordinate site activities, conduct regular inspections, and attend project meetings during construction.

Required profile

• Strong critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.
• Self‑driven, curious, and eager to take on new challenges.
• Professional certifications such as Competent Person (Security) are advantageous.
• A recognised degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline accredited by the Professional Engineers Board.
• Familiarity with engineering design software such as AutoCAD or similar.
• Experience in security systems design or with a specialist contractor/integrator is a plus.
• Candidates with over 3 years of relevant experience may be considered for senior position.
