Senior Building Executive

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Building Executive to oversee the operation, maintenance and renovation of commercial and institutional premises in Singapore. The role involves supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and statutory regulations, and maintaining the reliability of building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and verify works carried out by contractors and service providers, including planning and overseeing addition, alteration, and renovation (A&A) projects.
• Obtain quotations, coordinate procurement and arrange rectification works with appointed contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of building facilities, systems and equipment to ensure operational reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Manage preventive maintenance programmes for mechanical, electrical and other building services.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years (or up to 5+ years for senior level) of relevant experience in facilities or building management.
• Experience managing commercial, institutional, healthcare or government facilities is preferred.
• Good knowledge of building services, preventive maintenance and M&E systems.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA), Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, fire safety regulations and other statutory codes.
• Strong coordination, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
