Senior Business Analyst – AI & Data (Banking)

About the role

Capco is seeking a Senior Consultant – Business Analyst to support a banking Data for AI programme. You will work across business, data and technology teams to assess current data practices, identify gaps and translate findings into practical requirements and improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current‑state data governance, ownership, stewardship, access, controls and data processes.
• Work across AI and data use cases to understand data requirements, sources, flows and consumption.
• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with business, data and technology teams.
• Map processes and data flows, identify gaps, bottlenecks and unclear accountability.
• Translate findings into clear business and data requirements, target‑state improvements and reusable governance patterns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on data, AI/analytics or technology transformation.
• Practical experience in data governance, data management, data strategy or data transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
• Experience with AI/ML, GenAI or AI data enablement initiatives is highly desirable.
