Senior Business Development Manager – SME Banking

About the role

Join Standard Chartered Bank Singapore as a Senior Business Development Manager focused on Small Business Clients within the SME Banking division. You will drive acquisition of new-to-bank (NTB) small‑business customers and cross‑sell a comprehensive suite of banking and wealth solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly New Sales Revenue targets through NTB client acquisition and active cross‑selling.
• Ensure each new client holds at least two SME Banking products.
• Maintain full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to customer queries within two business days.
• Collaborate with internal teams and refer suitable clients to Affluent (Individual) banking.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SME or business banking, with a proven track record of acquiring new small‑business clients.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to meet sales targets.
• High ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Self‑motivated, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
