Senior Buyer

About the role

Marvell is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its Singapore Procurement team. You will support semiconductor supply‑chain operations across the APAC region, working closely with internal functions and external suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective procurement of wafers, materials and services.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
• Collate and place orders for materials, goods and supplies.
• Monitor, expedite and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and negotiate cost‑effective terms.
• Drive cost‑reduction and cost‑avoidance projects.
• Manage supplier performance through scorecards, reviews and corrective actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) procurement in partnership with engineering and planning teams.
• Ensure compliance with Marvell’s purchasing policies, approval matrices and audit requirements.
• Analyse spend data for reporting and management review.
• Collaborate with planning, finance and operations on procurement matters.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field (other disciplines considered).
• Strong engineering knowledge of NPI and production support in semiconductors.
• Experience in contract review, supplier qualification and vendor performance management.
• Proven track record of cost reduction, cost avoidance or total cost of ownership initiatives.
