Senior Buyer - Semiconductor Procurement

About the role

Marvell's Singapore Procurement team is looking for a Senior Buyer to support its semiconductor supply chain across the APAC region. The Purchasing team sources and procures wafers, materials and services needed for product manufacturing and revenue delivery, working with Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Operations and Engineering teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchase requisitions into purchase orders and collate them to order materials, goods and supplies
• Monitor, expedite and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery
• Lead sourcing and negotiate with suppliers for the best cost and terms
• Drive cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives
• Manage supplier performance through regular reviews, scorecards and corrective actions
• Support NPI procurement with engineering and planning teams
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, approval matrices and audit requirements
• Analyze spend data for reporting and liaise with planning, finance and operations teams

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing
• Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent; other disciplines considered
• Experience in contract review, supplier qualification and vendor performance management
• Proven track record in cost reduction, cost avoidance or TCO improvement
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and trade compliance for APAC procurement

Required skills

• Windows OS and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle preferred
• Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement
