Senior Communications Manager

About the role

As a senior member of the Communications team, you will help position SP as a leading energy player in Singapore and the wider region. You will craft strategic narratives, drive high‑impact campaigns, and support the company’s transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communication campaigns that reinforce SP’s brand, employer value proposition, and community presence.
• Create differentiated content – media releases, articles, social posts, videos, infographics, and human‑interest stories – to support business objectives.
• Provide messaging counsel to business units, anticipate reputational risks, and secure positive media opportunities.
• Lead issues and crisis communications, participating in the emergency response team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of communication goals with corporate strategy.
• Manage internal communications, including leadership messages, staff bulletins, and employer‑branding initiatives.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience designing and executing strategic communication plans with measurable impact.
• Degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
• Strong storytelling, writing and editing abilities, capable of translating complex energy concepts into clear narratives.
• Proven media relations expertise and experience handling issues/crisis communications.
• Critical thinker with the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, multi‑tasking environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with senior leadership and media contacts.
• Demonstrated project‑management competence.
