Senior Communications Strategy Consultant – APAC (PR Writing)

About the role

As a senior member of the PR Newswire Communications Strategy Team, you will advise APAC’s leading organisations on international public‑relations strategy. The role centres on high‑quality press‑release writing in English and Chinese, content strategy, and the integration of paid and earned media solutions across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary strategic counsel for key accounts, translating business goals into measurable communications outcomes.
• Design and execute multi‑channel communication strategies with a strong focus on press‑release quality and content planning.
• Conduct advanced media‑landscape and competitive analyses to produce data‑backed advisory plans.
• Identify upselling opportunities for PR Newswire services and demonstrate clear ROI for integrated plans.
• Deepen client relationships through regular planning meetings, visits, and proactive support.
• Present and explain content strategies to senior stakeholders and support sales of PR Newswire solutions.
• Integrate PR Newswire’s proprietary channel and MultiVu solutions into client campaigns.
• Stay current on international communication trends, especially within APAC markets.

Required profile

• Proven background in public relations, either from an agency, corporate communications, or media/journalism environment.
• Experience advising senior leaders on PR strategy across APAC markets.
• Fluent writing ability in both English and Chinese.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
