Senior Compliance Manager (Investigation)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Manager (Investigation) to lead confidential, timely, and defensible investigations into potential breaches of law, regulation, or internal policy. The role works closely with Legal, People & Culture, Internal Audit, Risk, and Business Lines to strengthen our control environment across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end investigations into misconduct allegations, including fraud, corruption, market abuse, sanctions, data/privacy incidents, and harassment.
• Manage case intake, evidence preservation, interviews, analysis, reporting, and escalation to senior management or the audit committee.
• Oversee whistleblowing channels, ensure confidentiality, triage disclosures, and coordinate investigations or referrals.
• Develop and execute a risk‑based annual Compliance Monitoring & Testing (CMT) plan, design test scripts, perform walkthroughs, and produce clear CMT reports.
• Coordinate with external counsel or forensic vendors when required and track remediation actions.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with sound judgement and strong stakeholder management.
• Excellent written communication and ability to produce high‑quality investigation reports.
• Experience handling confidential investigations and whistleblowing processes.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
